Jubilee question

So I went by my AD today and I asked my SA to put me down for a BLNR on Jubilee. I know, I know it will be a while, but she said "you might be surprised". Any way, the point of this is that she said "here try on this TT GMT just to see how it feels" and the jubilee wouldn't come close to closing around my wrist. I've got a pretty good sized arm, my wrist is 8.25", but my Sub fits when opened out to the max. It's kinda tight in hot sweaty weather, but it works. So my question is, does the jubilee bracelet run smaller than the oyster?

I’m pretty sure that the standard Jubilee bracelet is in fact slightly shorter than the corresponding Oyster. You may have to add some links to it.

Yes, you’ll have to buy (or the AD may give) extra links.

IMHO the jubilee wears better than the oyster. It’s lighter feeling, cooler wearing, and it’s more comfortable. Bonus, it doesn’t show scratches like oysters. YMMV.

Good luck, I hope you land the BLNR soon

As above. I have two watches which I switched from Oyster to Jubilee. The Jubilee bracelets run smaller.

The Jubilee is smaller. I would ask if they stock extra links for when you watch arrives. Nothing like getting a new watch and waiting for some links before you wear it. I would also buy an extra link for your Submariner so you have some true adjustability in the glide lock clasp. Last time I bought one from my AD it was either $60 or $80.
