Why did my AP disappear from AP profile

Just curious on why my last AP that I purchased preowned disappeared off my AP profile a few months after I added it successfully? Anyone else have that happen?

The original owner may have added it back to their profile to hide that they sold it.

Wouldn’t that be shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted?

the original owner added it back to his profile .

keep adding it and play the game .. sadly AP allowing it ! they should have asked for a pic of the watch with specific time . Similarly to how we activate the insurance coverage of AP

I was surprised recently - my most recent purchase from a boutique didn’t ask me for the time photo when I activated coverage. I wonder if this requirement was removed? I’ve had to do it for my other purchases so I was surprised when it didn’t come up this time

AP got rid of the number / paper pic requirement to get AP care activated. you just need to click a button on the website now to activate

in terms of buying used watches, it amazes me how AP doesn't have the ability to track if a watch gets removed from a profile and if it gets added back

Well, there was this occasional poster/clown on here who would re-register his pieces on his account after selling them....

Did all watches disappear?

Sometimes AP have a systems outage and my profile will be empty.

This happened to me. An IT glitch. I ignored it, checked again a week later and it is back.

Apparently the previous owner is trying to hide they sold the watch as I added it back again and it disappeared again! Dirty flippers 😂

I would rat him out, that's just bad form unless there was a clear agreement on a "safe sale".

Send it in to APSC for a check on a bogus complaint. Be prepared to show proof of ownership. And the watch be in your system permanently.

Watch is a 25th anniversary 26237st “Beast” so not an open work or some crazy special piece

I wouldn’t put up with that if there was no agreement in place. Contact the previous buyer or the company you bought through and give them a chance to stop doing it, or contact AP direct and explain the situation.
