Tell me about the Seamaster 2231.80
Just stumbled across one of these online. This is a titanium Seamaster 2231.80 that was discontinued around 2005, I believe. This looks like a beautiful watch, and the dimensions seem like perfection at 41mm x 11.8mm thick. Titanium bracelet and gorgeous blue wave dial, and that lume! Anyone have or had one of these? Curious why I don't see more of these out there. Give me the good and bad on this watch if possible. Really like what I've seen and read so far.

A nice Omega Seamaster, but I am more interested in the Blancpain Fifty Fathom
references with the 1315 caliber movement. With 3 barrels and 5-day reserve-they are chronometer accurate and tough as titanium nails. I prefer metal case backs as I actually dive my Submariners in serious salt water. This particular Seamaster looks to be a good dive model, with generous lumed indices. |
