Was fun to see Lyles run (& win, of course) wearing one of my favorite Omegas in my collection!
Ukraine's Yaroslava Mahuchikh cleared 2 meters and won gold wearing a Seamaster Aqua Terra Titanium: https://somethingaboutrocks.com/arti...a-ultra-light/ (which means she could jump over Noah Lyles & clear him by about an inch (2.54 cm)!

That's awesome! Omega's visibility at the Olympics is impressive. Seeing top athletes like the fastest man in the world, Leon Marchand, and Thomas Ceccon wearing Omega watches highlights their connection with high performance and precision. Thanks for sharing!

“ Just 0.005 seconds separated U.S.A.'s Noah Lyles gold medal run and Kishane Thompson of Jamaica”
Given the incredibly small time differences, why would anyone wear a watch in a race and risk falling to win a medal (apart from a big bag of cash)? |

That said, I used to wear my Planet Ocean 42mm (which is somewhat heavy) while competitive rowing. But I was not rowing in the Olympics. |

Super cool. I wondered the same thing about wearing anything extra. I wouldn’t have anything on me except what was absolutely necessary. Who knows? That .005 could instead be a .01 without the watch.

Pretty sure Noah Lyles had a Aqua Terra "Ultra Light" on his wrist when he ran/won the 100m Gold. I believe that Leon Marchand had a Speedmaster Chronoscope on his wrist during his medal ceremony |

Should have worn an OF Daytona, and utilised the Chrono -

Of course a watch is nothing compared to some of these necklaces and even earrings I see on some track athletes. Some brand ambassadors and sponsorship events bewilder me to no end. The Olympics though I think is a wise use of money. |
