1985 Tudor 76100 Submariner Date Lollipop Cream Patina Unpolished Vintage Sub

For sale is a very good condition, all original 40mm stainless steel Tudor Submariner “Lollipop”. The 76100 which is an 85,xxx serial, circa 1985 production, and is not accompanied by box or papers.

The Tudor features a brushed steel case with a bidirectional divers bezel, and is mounted on its original folded link 9315 brushed steel Oyster bracelet. The 9315 bracelet is fully linked and will easily fit a wrist in excess of 7.6 inches. The Submariner features a black matte dial with painted tritium hour markers, polished 18 karat white gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium hour markers, hands, and bezel insert pip have acquired a light golden cream colored patina with age, which is completely even in tone and color. The movement used in the 76100 is a modified ETA caliber 2824-2 which is running without issue, but has most likely never been serviced, due to the absence of any service marks on the inner caseback

Condition:
The Tudor’s case has been preserved extremely well and appears unpolished, retaining super crisp brush lines and chamfers, while the teeth on the divers bezel remain razor sharp. The 9315 Oyster bracelet has also been preserved well, retaining all of its original links, with minimal stretch. Overall, the Sub is in very good vintage condition and is a wonderful example of a barn-find “Lollipop” Submariner reference 76100. Fresh to market and truly as found, the Submariner’s “Hooked 7” silver date wheel is almost an added bonus, when taking all of its vintage charm into account.
