Thoughts on a ladies 6718
I am considering a 6718 in stainless for my wife. Any thoughts on a good price? I see they can range from $1100 to over 2k based on condition etc.
The one I'm looking at is a 6718 Lady Oyster Perpetual SS automatic watch, circa 1980. Stick hour marks with a ss Rolex Oyster band. The sellers states that it runs fine but does not know when it was last serviced. Thanks for any thoughts. |

The dial looks a bit dirty in that photo, the lume is ugly, and the condition of the case also doesn't look great. I haven't researched this reference, but it looks quite small, and I'd be quite surprised if they sold for anything like $2k in SS. Are you basing that on actual sales prices, or just asking prices on the internet? If you really like it, my thinking is that you might offer $500 or something like that. Maybe less, TBH, I can't imagine there will be many buyers for this watch.

Thanks
Thanks, exactly the kind of input I was looking for, a good sanity check. I know the seller won't take $500 but it is also unsold after a few weeks....
