FS: Seiko x Hodinkee Alpinist SPB089

Hi folks! For sale is one of the best Hodinkee collabs from the last few years, the limited edition of 1959 blue Seiko Alpinist SPB089. This Alpinist case was built to a 39mm spec, with a 45.9mm lug to lug and 12mm thickness. With 20mm lugs, this thing is an absolute strap monster and this kit will come with an extra Perlon nato and a Barton Elite Silicone strap to give you a few options for it!

Condition wise I would put this one at 82%. Overall the watch presents beautifully on the wrist and has normal signs of wear in the polished areas of the bezel and case. The most notable flaws, seen in the pictures, are a small ding on the bezel at 4 o’clock, a micro flat spot on the bezel edge at 6 and a rub on the 8 o’clock lug polished surface. None of these take much away from the wrist presence and stunning dial with this watch, though. The OEM strap is in excellent, lightly worn condition. With 30-40 hand winds, the watch is running well within spec – it’s ready for many more years of enjoyment!

The sale will include the full kit (box, papers, card, original receipt from Hodinkee) and the two extra straps noted above.
