Why Add a Yacht Master?

A rhetorical, curiosity question, what does it do for me? Why have one?

Currently I have a GMT with all black ceramic bezel, Planet Ocean, have been wearing a Speedmaster on loan and the slate 41mm DJ.

Of those, the GMT is my favorite, and will most likely sell the 41mm DJ if I ever get access to a 36mm that's on my wishlist with the AD.

So what functionality, style, what does the YM do for me? I always want a date on a watch, the Speedmaster being the exception, the blue dial looks nice, not sure about the bezel, and why do people wear them?
