Incoming Alert. The Eagke has landed & I couldn’t be more pleased

Over my Watch collecting experience, it’s extremely rare, ( if ever) for the dream watch to ever live up to its hype. The expectation never seems fulfilled once The chase ends.
For me, at Last, a watch that owns its hype. I won’t bore everyone(too much) suffice to say that I have never been as happy with a purchase. I’ve never been so pleased with everything about a single watch. Don’t get me wrong, I still love those Rolex in my Collection, all of which serve a purpose and My Aquanaut will answer the call of duty in rotation. In less formal days. But the 5712 does it all. Dressy, casual. It’s so sleek and understated. Slim and Comfortable to wear. I’m grateful to all the members who gave their opinions on previous threads regarding this Nautilus. A few mandatory photos to make the occasion.

And the 240!

I've had it for more than 10 years and it stood the test of time without interruption as far as I'm concerned.

Wear it in the best of health

I've had the good fortune of owning a whole lot of Rolexes and a few Aquanauts, but nothing compares to the feeling of the Nautilus on the wrist... bracelet is like butter and the level of finish takes your breath away

Huge congrats on an amazing piece, the 5712 is epic!

Enjoy in good health

This is the grail of all grails.

Were you able to source it from an AD?

Hey Mr. LA. Thank you.
In all honesty, I’ve had a wonderful AD Journey. Fortunate enough to have a Rolex/Patek family owned Salon in my nearest City. They value Loyalty & future spend. They are not solely focused on “spend X and we will sell you Y”
My journey is over the past 7-8 years I guess. Buying 1 watch per year, sometimes 2. I’ve had mostly Rolex, the usual suspects, Batman , Sub , Rootbeer, lady & gents OP. My star Rolex is my Oysterflex 116519 LN. My wife bought a Ladies Clair De rose Tudor she loved & I’ve a Black bay. My only other Patek is the Aquanaut 5167/1A-001 and I purchased the rubber strap and Deployant as extras & have never worn it on the steel bracelet. Also picked up an Omega Seamaster along the way.
I’ve never been asked to buy a watch or jewellery. All purchases came from the natural collection journey & they know I won’t stop now that I have the Grail. Anytime I have the chance, I call in for a chat & there is always something nice to try on, or even hear how business is going. They have my family now as customers for life, rather than maximising spent before watch sale.

Certainly we have a small population here, so it’s on a different scale to the USA. I have heard a few horror stories from another AD based here in Ireland. So it’s not always the case. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I’ve received over the years, & no doubt will continue to.
