Sub ND! Then you can plan for a GMT II BLNR after that.

Out of that trio I prefer the ND Sub, as it is the one that represents the more pure essence of Rolex, similar to the 36mm Explorer 1. But obviously that is my preference and your reasons for liking a watch could be entirely different

Unfortunately, the ADs here are the grey markets too, so it’s tough to find someone who can arrange for tryouts/exhibition pieces.

But thanks for your suggestion, appreciate it.

Sub ND
It will likely be my next addition.

The Sub or GMT on oyster would pair perfectly with your DJ.

Put both on the list with your AD and see what comes first.

If going grey, then the Sub is much better value.

+1

BLNR will be a nice addition, either on Oyster or jubilee, I love the blue/black bezel which makes it unique IMO.

Sub SD is my number 1…. I would recommend it. Love the timeless simplicity, it fits any time any where…
As a second, I would go for the BLNR on oyster, I am waiting for one now… but it were to be only one, it would remain the Sub.

Submariner.

Can’t really beat a Sub and Datejust as a 2 watch combo

GRNR is my first choice. Even without considering you have a Seamaster. I think GMT’s are more useful than divers. That said, if I were to ever get a Sub it would be that one.

Another option is the Explorer II Polar. GMT, tough as hell, classic. I think this would by my first choice of all you listed.

I have and love both. Personally I prefer the sub date to the no date. I use the date more than the time most days, and I love the cyclops.

The sub is iconic, timeless, and all the other things. That’s why you will see them 100x more than the gmt.

The blnr does everything the sub does, but does it with more pop. I don’t think it’s too loud but it is just enough. It’s a lot less common, more comfortable, and fits in anywhere.

No way anyone here can choose for you.

Thanks a lot, everyone. I have decided to go with the Sub ND. However I still need to wait for a few weeks as the allotment is in transit.

This. Under-appreciated on oyster but it looks fantastic.

The sub has all the classic/timeless criteria you're looking for...and pairs really well with the DJ.

You've got plenty of time to go chasing that other stuff, but the sub/DJ core will serve you well while you do.

Get a Sub from an AD!
Wait times for Subs are more reasonable (my own experience and from others posts)…
And the Sub is the best daily / does it all watch.

Then put yourself on the list for a GMT, :)

Either one of the GMTs. Since you already have a jubilee, I’d lean towards the GMT on oyster, unless you don’t care about variety.
