Advice needed - oyster link GMT Pepsi 16700 / Submariner 16610

Advice needed.

I have a fully linked pre-ceramic submariner (16610) w/ no lug holes (i believe it’s a 2005). It has a ton of sentimental value and i never plan to sell it. I also have a GMT Master Pepsi (T serial - 1996 i believe). My wrist is small, and I removed a link on the sub to fit it. For personal reasons, I need to sell the Pepsi. Unfortunately, it’s missing a link. I know the clasps are obviously different, but are the links interchangeable? I would disclose this to a purchaser, but everyone seems to want a fully linked watch.

Any advice? Are they interchangeable or are newer models (2005 sub oyster bracelet incompatible with a 1996 GMT oyster bracelet?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

It’s a non issue, they can buy additional links. If it was gold, it’s a big problem but with that bracelet, not a big deal.

The links are the same in dimension and will work. The links on your sub are brushed on the sides though. Your GMT has polished sides.

Links are easy to find. Also, sale price won’t really be affected if you’re 1 link short.

The links on the Rolex Submariner and GMT Master bracelet may not be interchangeable due to the different designs and sizes of the bracelets. It's possible that they may not fit properly or securely if you were to try to swap them out.

Since both watches are important to you and have sentimental value, it may be worth looking into sourcing a replacement link specifically for the GMT Master Pepsi bracelet. You could try contacting Rolex or a reputable watchmaker to see if they can assist you in finding a link that matches your bracelet.

It's important to disclose to any potential buyer that the watch is missing a link, as this may impact their decision to purchase. Being transparent about the condition of the watch is always the best approach when selling a timepiece.
