Thoughts on this WG Daytona?

What are the general thoughts on this white gold daytona? https://www.the1916company.com/rolex...ytona/4965232/

NOT the price. I found one for around 28k as a CPO and it is intriguing..

Is that blue o black on the dial? CPO is wildly overpriced.

It's the black face. I just haven't really seen this combo and it seemed interesting. 28k CPO seems pretty good vs other prices for non CPO I've seen.

I’m not familiar with that particular model but the Certified pre owned program they have is one way to be assured it’s the real deal and supposedly it’s been gone through thoroughly? I’m a big fan of Daytonas but gold will show a lot more wear than a SS Daytona.

I did a quick search on Google for that very same watch and found it listed as new with stickers at another site in California called authentic watches i would be cautious dealing with them as I have had a bad experience in the past i also have had a good experience in the past so the two seem to cancel each other out but you want to make sure and stay on top of checking your watch out when you get it and making sure that there are no hidden damages that weren't revealed before you get it.

I don't like it. Don't chase the price chase the watch if you like it. The arabic numerals are not in line with the vibe of the watch to me.

Personally I don’t like numerals on the Daytona, and also much prefer a ceramic bezel.

But to each their own

I like the watch. The numbers on the dial do make it more legible.

Love almost every Daytona, it’s not one I’d pick at that price range, but go for it if you like it .l

I usually don’t like numerals on a Daytona, however that particular one, caught my eye, and as you said, is intriguing. I like it.

Isn’t that considered a ”racing dial”?? I have seen it on TT with both black and blue dials.

I own the WG Daytona with blue dial.
A good friend has this black dial.
Side by side? Black is a knock it out of the park Rolex.

Well, I’m a fan of this model. Mine is practically a daily wearer, and I’ve owned it since early 2015.

Might be more scratch prone than SS, but as you can see here, not really.

This is my favorite model as well. Lovely racing panda dial

I don’t care for it much. But, if YOU do, go for it!

Its a reference that is extremely hard to photograph accurately and generally looks much better in real life than in pictures (unlike the SS Ceramics which I find look amazing in pictures but underwhelming IRL)

I love mine

The pics below are more representative.

I have the silver dial and I really like it. I personally feel the numerals work well on the Daytona.
