5990 Service Request For New Clasp

if you have a 5990 with older clasp, would patek exchange or sell you the butterfly clasp during service if requested?

anyone have experience obtaining the new clasp?

I asked for the new clasp with micro adjustments on my 5740 during service and was told “no.”

Did they give an explanation? Because unless they’re not fully compatible, that’s really disappointing of them.
