yea I see 0% chance of AP doing that. even though FHB said they considered it in the past, I'm not too convinced they put THAT much consideration into doing so.

Same here. I rotate my 43 ROO and 16202 as my daily’s. Both have their places, but as it’s summertime, the Offshore gets the majority of wear. Once sleeves come out, the Jumbo will take over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I heard that the 16202OR was now discontinued? Not sure if the same applies for other PM.
Maybe this is driving the reversal? Has anyone else heard anything on this? |

Prices definitely has a decent way to go down.. I think. I believe everyone forgot how watches were pre covid. Over time, the hype will fade and of course come back in waves.. however, my bet is that it keeps declining for the most part. Just a thought though, nobody can predict that type of price movement.

Most collectibles are going down now. Ever pre owned Ferraris (the common models) have started to drop. While Rolex prices have not dropped much yet I have been seeing a lot more listed for sale recently. Also while the WG Meteorite GMT is still way above MSRP I have seen their prices dropping. While I am keeping my fingers crossed the 16202 comes down I am not holding my breath.

I think there is no chance price creep up, only down to flat. People are not dumb anymore and realize watches are not "investments" and this is not the covid times where the world was ending and suddenly money was injected like never been seen before. Equity markets are near ATHs and watch markets are near lows since the covid era.. dealers are still trying to convince people watches can be solid, but the market is just dry. Try selling a big watch to a dealer, 99% won't buy it at a good price and make you consign because they know down is more likely than up at this point. Just buy what you like and don't worry about price if you're gonna enjoy it.

My guess one year and its well below 60k. Watches as investments and all the hype is gone its just dealers now to amortise lost profits.

Looks like the 16202OR did get discontinued. It's not listed under "Current Collection" on the AP site anymore. Wonder if there will be a replacement soon.

I know every case is different. But what’s the average expectation of being allocated this watch at the boutique? How many watches in or total spend history for example. Or is it time with the brand.
