16600 Seadweller on a 97200
Know this has probably been confirmed somewhere before but thought I'd give some additional photos of the fitment with a non lug hole SD ("F" serial). Shout out to the techs over at Wempe on 5th for giving me great service yesterday afternoon while I was in a rush.
Fitting is great with OEM spring bars with very little wobble in the end links. Best of all, huge upgrade from the 93160 bracelet with the solid links and glide lock! Very happy with this one... |

Bracelet ref. 97200 for yr 2002 SD? looks and weight?
Excuse me for reviving this very interesting post and that for a good reason:
I'm trying to find (preferably within my city...) a nicely priced pre-loved SD ref. 16600 full set from the year 2002 (birth year of my younger daughter) and later add an OEM bracelet from later production with solid center links and Glide-lock. I'd be happy to read/see details about such an action and the result (even very subjective wearing experiences): This planned-to-buy watch is a bit older than the one shown above and still has lug holes. I wonder how the bracelet ref. 97200 of the Sub Date ref. 116610 would fit this 2002 SD (approx "K" series - add or take -, incl. wrist shots and maybe a weight data when sized for approx. 17 cm / 6.7" wrist that I have. (Maybe the very same like the no-hole SD made later as in the OP - but I do not know...) Thank you very much for all of your kind inputs! Best regards, Robert |
