Icon5 Taking 1985 Ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date in for service

9/3/24

I’m taking my watch into the local Naples Florida authorized Rolex repair center
for repair. They claim they will send to Rolex direct. It’s extremely expensive proposition… last check 1500+1800 for the repair.

Any tips on how to carry out this process? I’m not able to find the serial number ..should I have them open it and put the serial number on the receipt?

Should I get a tracking number showing it actually went to the Rolex Service Center?

Anything else?

Thank you

When the Dealer sends it in, they are the customer, and you will not get tracking information or even be able to check on your watch while there.

What you can do is insist on agreeing to the Rolex estimate and charges, and not use the Dealers data. It is up to the RSC to put together estimates and required as well as recommended actions which need to be agreed to before work is done.

The AD just might approve everything and some things you may not want done.
