Subdued compared to current offering.

The monotone dial is a win for me as it lends itself to rare Daytona legibility.

Beautiful, but do not like it on a strap…at all.

I think I’d rather have a nice vintage Newman.

I wouldn’t wear that if you gave it to me. I’m so glad I prefer “cheap” stainless steel watches with nothing sparkly…

I like it. Even more so if it was on bracelet.

lol, cute.

This watch is not for someone who can only afford or only wants the simple life of one Newman or the vintage rainbow.

Usually this sits in a collection of like 20 to 200 museum grade pieces that Rolex itself is willing to try to bid on to get the watch back.

I think this is a big difference between normal people and this level of collectors. Most ask themselves if they want a gemset rainbow if they had just that price of money to spend. The more relevant question is actually would you buy this watch for your collection if you had a $50mm watch-only budget. You already finished buying the houses that you need, cars you would want, and you slang these gemset Daytonas around like an Omega MoonSwatch.

As a piece of art or jewellery, stunning. As a chronograph, utterly useless. I'm out.
