IWC High Complications
Hi all, I'm new to IWC and wondering if it's possible to walk into the Boutique and purchase their high complications without any history? Interested in their perpetual calendar.

Unless I’m misreading the room, I would expect/push for a discount vs. a wait.

I don’t have boutique experience and the two IWC watches I owned were bought on the secondary market for less than retail. Check the usual listing on Chrono24 and the trusted sellers here to get an idea. I’m just not sure that boutiques discount.

I got about 20% off for asking at a boutique in the US, far from my home, so I had no history with them. I was there in person though. Waived sales tax and they FedEx'ed it to me too, wouldn't let me walk out with it due to waiving sales tax.

A few weeks ago, I was at my local boutique and was told of two models being discontinued. As a result, they were willing to discount them 8% which is the equivalent of our local sales tax. |

High Complication IWC offer tremendous value on the pre owned market. There is TRF trusted seller selling a IWC Pilot Perpetual Calendar "Antoine De Saint Exupery" IW503801 full perpetual rn for like 17K in mint condition. That's crazy!
I'd be looking for a big discount off new, because like JLC and Breguet, it's going to plummet in value if bought at RRP. |

Bought 3 IWC in the last couple of years. Not high complication models but there was no waiting. If it’s in the shop they will sell it to you. If not, they will order it.

You can get them easy, but if you have handled Patek, AP, etc… you’ll see where the extra money goes.
In particular on the PC I dislike having the actual year on the dial. |

The IWC perpetual calendars don't do it for me with size being one major factor. I have had a few IWCs but only kept my Mark XV.
