I really like both dials, so it’s a toss up between the two for me (no wrong answer here). The blue dial is what I chose as I love blue and IMO, it’s a great compliment to the blue in the bezel.
Me personally…if I have the good fortune to pick between SS & PM, and there’s a definite difference or exclusive dial, bracelet, bezel, etc…vs the SS version, I’ll pick the PM in most cases, but not all.

As others have said...such a stunning photo of a stunning watch.

OP, per my recent incoming thread, I have recently let traded in my BLNR on jubilee. Loved that watch, but the ends justified the means in my scenario. With my tastes evolving towards PM watches, the BLRO is near that top of my list as a natural replacement for the BLNR. There is nothing like a full PM piece on the wrist. I know you provided some very good reasons that you wouldn't let go some of the pieces in your collection but if the opportunity came and it required letting go of some those, I would not hesitate.

I've got a LN. Agree it's perfect under the radar GMT, most think it's a sub.

I'm on the list for BLNR (Jubilee) and BLRO (WG/Meteorite).
One steel, one PM.

My SA told me today when I texted her they only received one Meteorite BLRO GMT in 2023. So likely they'll get 1 per year. It's smaller AD. But likely smaller client list.

Have bought a few pieces of jewelry there that have been great for my wife.

I have a WG Daytona and a RS Daytona both with full gold bracelets. WG is my favorite. Also want a Pepsi meteriote and am waiting for mine. WG Rolex are the best Rolex makes in my opinion. So versatile, great feeling and perfect weight. Do it!

Yes! The blue-dial GMT is one of my favorites; I wear it without worrying about drawing too much attention.

lol. Meteorite mistaken for steel by everyone except here. Also, why does that matter. Whole purpose of white gold is to go incognito.

Would not recommend a Rolex if you want to go incognito, definitely not one with a bright blue and red bezel

I think the blue looks cooler than the meteorite.
Seems more timeless and classy.

I like the WG BLRO with blue dial. When the SS BLRO is discontinued and heads off to the moon, I’ll sell it and upgrade.

As a person struggling to figure out what I want, this thread making WG GMT Blue dial jump to the top (and I never considered before as thought too close to steel version). Seems amazing - keep the photos/comments coming ;-)

Can any owner of the blue dial WG GMT confirm if the dial is matte blue or glossy blue? It looks matte to me from the above pictures but want to be sure.

Thanks!

Matte in low light. Like wet ink in light.

I have black dial as well. Do you feel robbed that Rolex came out with a stainless steel variant that looks the same? Seems like there is no exclusivity in our watches now like the submariner (blue bezel, etc).

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that!

Yes it’s a stunning looking watch, white gold, blue or meteorite dial, stealth Wealth…

But, I had a white gold Cookie Monster sub for a year and sold it. Bought it because I thought I wanted a low key heavy hitter daily, but after 6-8months I realised my stainless steel sub did the same job for a fraction of the price and I didn’t even think twice to take it on a holiday with me..

I have owned both the blue and the meteorite dial. The blue dial is better imo because the meteorite dial is very hard to read because there is very little contrast between the hands and the dial. The blue dial is very stunning it’s a little different than the other references and it goes with the bezel nicely. However the black dial is the best weather in WG or steel.

Life is short buy the watch-

I think in the class what you're looking for, i.e., not paying stupid money, it's the pick of the litter.

But...worth it? That's a whole other thing.

I own the meteorite dial version so obviously I prefer that one. After all, I passed on the blue dial from my AD twice while waiting for the meteorite.
That said, the blue dial is awesome too. Sometimes I even consider adding the blue dial, but hopefully I won't because that would be ridiculous.

Sorry, I'm no help.

It is a very nice watch.
