Jealousy?

Does anyone else find your older pieces get jealous when you acquire a piece at the top of your list?

Batgirl and Sprite are acting like overlooked middle children right now.

Careful now - they can hear your keyboard clicks and interpret them like HAL.

Pretty soon, they will refuse to open their podbay clasps.

Then where will you be?

Cue the music...

I will usually wear a new watch a lot when I first get it then it becomes part of the rotation.

My remorse more than their jealousy is the issue. To suddenly feel indifferent about rotating in previous favorites makes me feel guilty. But I keep doing it. I’m a stone cold sociopath it seems.

Not really, I've found that metal timetelling objects rarely have their feeling hurt, which is why I like them so much.

Sulking, I guess. I'm afraid I wouldn't even notice.

I believe you are engaging in personification. Watches don’t have human feelings. I, on the other hand, do feel a bit guilty, for ignoring some of my watches, in favor of others.

I used to love a cigar with a rum or some single malt. Haven’t done that for years.

I never tried it with bourbon but that looks like a whole couple of hours of Friday night bliss on a table.

My Daytona is like the coach's son. Every other watch knows he'll be on the team no matter what.

My OP, Datejusts, and even my Sub have lost ground lately as the GMT, Daytona, and Day-Date are ruling the roosts now.

Just for good measure… both acquired this past week. The RS13 is my preferred choice over the 15 though.

You win! I haven’t had the RR15 yet but I will soon enough. Waiting to open my RR Single Rickhouse until I hit my sales goal. I’m hoping 2-3 weeks from now.
