Tudor Chrono Pink update

So, they now have it officially on their website. Does it mean it is no longer a unicorn watch? I certainly have seen a lot being sold by grey dealer. And my AD still hasn't seen one yet I'm told. But if it's not rare, suddenly it feels less desirable, only just. Pls don't flame.

It has been on their website for several months now. There have been lots of incomings here and for sales on Moda. I asked my local dealer for one, they’ve already had a couple. They expect them to trickle in then be in their case in six months. I want one because I like the look, don’t care if it’s limited.

They are available, they are taking names and you should get it. Dont forget that not everyone would want to spend this much on a Tudor: in my region it almost same price as the Rolex OP36mm

Watched this yesterday which said it was now a permanent model and freely available.

https://youtu.be/v4qlBxyJD7U?si=MADalzCy3sJskcHO

It addresses the fact it was introduced as very limited, but now not, which was a touch misleading.

I would suspect the overs will be over pretty soon, and there will be a few annoyed special "chosen one" clients people around!

My honest question on this watch, and no offense intended, is do people want this watch because they like it or do they want this watch because it it's considered hard to get and desirable? I guess I don't understand the fascination with a pink dial Tudor that is available in several other colors. If this was a standard release available everywhere would people still care?

I want it because of the unusual color, I don’t care at all if it’s rare or not. My most worn watches these days are my brightly colored OPs, this follows that pattern. I’m retired and can wear “whimsical” watches every day.

Kind of reminds me of the Watches of Switzerland pink dial Grand Seiko they released a couple of years ago. It wasn’t a chrono but it’s really not the first time something like this has been done.

Was nearby so dropped into the local AD for an update this morning. Talked directly to their “watch guy” and his quote was “it’s a regular production model.” They have only seen two so far but he assured me I would get one.

$7k isn't barely over MSRP. Where are you seeing those?
