Would disagree with this. You can sometimes not wear it if the risk is too high. A life and mental health is more important than a Rolex. If you don't feel safe wearing it somewhere, then take another watch and wear a beater instead. When you're back, put it back on

Man, you are courting danger here. I can easily see you tripping on a cobbled Santa Fe street or ruining it by falling off a barstool at a Austin dive bar. And don’t even get me started on the sharks off South Padre Island.
