An interesting and informative Richard Mille article…
After sitting on the fence for a very long time before pulling the trigger on my first…

I think it's cool from a brand perspective. It's amazing what they've achieved.
From a watch nerd enthusiast's perspective, I still don't really get it. |

An interesting and informative Richard Mille article…
I liked reading the piece - it appears to be eponymous authorship. In other words written for Forbes by RM themselves?
I had to stifle a guffaw when I read the following. "Richard Mille’s long association with motor-racing also made it perfectly natural for a collaboration with Ferrari. Both companies have a track record in developing purposeful machines that perform at the highest level while still being stunningly beautiful and a pleasure to engage with. Both houses are renowned for their uncompromising attention to detail and their unified aversion to the superfluous." Aversion to the superfluous? Ha - very RM dial I've ever seen is so superfluous that it's hard to read the time. Don't get me wrong, if I win the MegaMillions tonight I'm buying every one on Chrono 24 tomorrow. They Are Technically Great watches With Terrible dials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Wish I could see the appeal. Great thing about life is variety, for those who enjoy them bless them.. but I'v tried to see it from all angles and just don't get it. I see a well marketed product that is known to be priced high so people buy it to show they can. I understand the price for a complicated AP,PP,Journe etc... but this looks like something out of a happy meal. Maybe for the quirky billionaire or athlete who got it for free

I was the biggest fan when hardly anyone was, before they became the greatest object of money laundering... I was probably the first one who made the full 011 database, one than even guys in RM didn't have that detailed...
I'm still a fan of old models, everything up to 012... |

I love everything this brand represents as a challenge to the status quo of the industry.

Yep, it's advertorial/paid content.

It might be a cry for help by RM as sales may be dwindling. Lots of other options from Asian sites.
This may be a good time for an advertorial by manufacturers that are desperately struggling. Maybe Ulysse Nardin should pay Forbes, WatchTime, Hyprebeast, and others for advertorials? Am personally not a fan of advertorial, yet it could be considered a Fool Tool for weak-minded consumers. Too bad all the Hype peaked in March 2022. All those RM sponsorship agreements surely cost big $,$$$,$$$. Wonder how much $$$$ from each watch goes towards their ad campaigns and sponsorship? And what about Hublot?
