Rolex 14K 6265

This Rolex 6265 from around 1979 in 14K yellow gold is not my watch, but offered up for sale by a private party to me. The current owner bought it new and only has RSC service documents, no box nor papers. Any thoughts on value in the USA. Thanks for any input.

Suggest you contact a well-known dealer, such as Andrew Shear, Michael Morgan, Matt Bain, etc ... My guess is in the $100K range. But that's just a guess. I assume PM versions are worth more than SS versions, but I could be off-base.

Used to wear it 20 years ago...

Bought my PN in 1980's from a friend who inherited her from his Grandpa, One day I found out she was worth to much $$ and now I just visit once a year at the Bank safe... :(

WOW!!! Black dial 6239 Paul Newman. That is spectacular and stunningly beautiful. The holy grail. In my opinion, the best and most beautiful watch ever produced.

Hi Guys, I‘m new to vintage Rolex watches and in need of advice. Attached you will find images of a 6263 that has been offered to me. I compared the images to a lot of watches on the net and I’m not sure if the watch is alright. Could you please shed some light on whether this is a fake or the real deal? Thanks a lot for your time and knowledge. Happy to learn! Cheers Nady

No disrespect intended to those who have and love the PNs; I can appreciate the rarity and reasons why one might love them.

I totally agree 100% !!
