Omega Ploprof
I am probably late to realizing this but are the standard Ploprofs not being made any longer. I looks like the Summer Blue Gradient Dial model is the only one on the Omega website. And there is no option for the Shark mesh bracelet. I am glad I got one of the Titanium models recently on the mesh bracelet, which is a lot cooler than the rubber strap.

Me too. I would love to get my hands on one. Sadly those days are long gone

I love the Ploprof. Wish Omega offers this beast at 40mm and eat Panerai’s lunch.
I don’t need another Speedy LE. I’ll take a 40mil Ploprof any day. |

I owned a steel one and it was really nice, but the Titanium model I own now is cooler and a lot easier to wear.

Funny enough I went the other way, I sold my titanium Ploprof 1200m and bought another steel version, I believe the heft is part of the character of this model and I missed it, still wears much more comfortably than you would expect.

Ploprofs
I also had a steel one and although the heft did not bother me that much, my preference is the lighter Titanium. I have plenty of heavier steel watches if I feel the need for heft, Rolex Deepsea, Seadweller 42mm, Breitling 45mm Avenger B01 Chronograph, Dreadnought Voyager, Sinn U1000s, etc. All of these are plenty to satisfy that need.
I did not like the date adjustment on the old PloProf model either. And my last thing would be that I really like the gray face on this Ti Ploprof. I did however prefer the solid steel back on the older model. |

I do much prefer the rubber strap that came with the titanium model, softer rubber, more subtle design and it’s clever how it replicates the design of the mesh bracelet.

PloProf on rubber
I got that rubber strap that looks like the mesh included with my Ti model but I prefer the older design with the lettering so I bought one orange and one black color for my Ti PloProf.
