My wife's stainless DJ went 16 years before it quit. Rivet came off the rotor and wedged in somewhere. Sat in the safe for 10+ more years before I asked her if she would like it fixed since I was getting back into watches again. That was 10 years ago and its still going strong.

Father purchased GMT Master in 1998, first service was 2018 or 2019, so 20 - 21 years.
Nothing wrong, watch was running perfectly, just a complete overhaul was required.

My 16610 has been 24 years without service and still is keeping perfect time. I don’t wear it often though.

My daily watch is a date just brought new in 2002. I’m an engineer and it gets bashed about and has never been serviced. My GMT 11 brought new in 2018 has just gone for a service as the main spring has moved slightly causing a vibration.

14 years on my bluesy. When I finally did get it serviced, it wasn't because there were any issues - there weren't. Just thought that after that long,it was time....

Hoping for another 14 years of wearing and no issues.

My Father's K serial DJ has never been serviced.

Only 2 of my current watches have been serviced...
A Tudor 79090 I purchased 2nd hand. I serviced it in 2015... Swapped the crystal, seals, rehaut clean up
A Tudor Ranger purchased in 2014 that was +15spd, serviced under warranty

Oldest current watch is from 2007
Oldest Rolex is from 2014

Had to make sure I hadn't posted this - my 1603 went 27 years between a service. I won't let that happen again!

37 years, my Rolex DJ 16233 was on my wrist for 22 years straight and then got part time duty as my collection grew. I just now sent it to Rolliworks, you can follow the thread I posted for the before and after (after hasn’t happened yet, it’s still there).

14 years on my 116710LN.

Keeps good time and I don’t plan on having it serviced within the next few years.

The main issue I see with waiting too long is water resistance. Gaskets and O-rings do wear out and crack, so I won’t swim with it until I do finally have it serviced.

Now that I think about it … I owned a 16600 in 1992 and trade it on a 116710 in 2007 (I think).

I hadn’t serviced it and it was still running great
