The only winning move is not to play.

Buy anywhere but Vegas.

I’ve lived in Vegas for about 20 years and my experience is mainly with Tourneau, now Bucherer.

After 15 years of purchases ($5-15k), I still get no love on Rolexes. 2+ years and still no Batman.

Last month I finally got fed up. Told them I’m spending $11k on a watch… either with them or a private party opportunity that came up.

Got my 116710LN in excellent condition for $11k and no sales tax. Cheaper than a new Batman plus tax!

I'm usually there for 3 days (2 nights) MAX but one year I spent Thu-Mon there over a Super Bowl weekend...

...I was basically broke and needed a liver transplant.

Best 5 days of my life though.

Which exact watch are you looking for? Sounds like you have a few nice PM. Couldn’t figure out from post and comments if OP had a reference in mind or just anything nice offered.

Look for the little mounds in the desert. With some digging, you should find your watch.

Love Vegas, and did 6 nights 5 days in August, but stayed off strip in a resort where the rooms were like apartments with kitchens and that allowed us to grocery shop and only eat one meal out a day. Even though I can afford it, food in Vegas is crazy expensive. Staying off strip also allowed us to do other things in the area easily. Was ready to leave when it was over but not intensely so.

Been working with my new AD for almost 4 years (old one of 25+ years had their acct pulled). It's been 9 mths since the request and no response or mention of the request. Visited the store every month since the request.
DAMN. Three PM pieces and 200K and you can't get them to give you the time of day. That's sad. What did you ask for?

As for Vegas, I got no clue who they're actually selling watches too, but it's not tourists or anyone who doesn't count their net worth in multiples of a million dollars. Fame probably helps, I suppose. Glad I play in a small pond AD.

If you go to Caesars, head to the cashiers cage in the back and say hello to my money

The only AD's worth your time in Vegas is the one by Caesar's Palace and the one by Wynn.

I'm in CA and visit Vegas twice a year (return fare is like $80 weekdays!). I've been offered watches from white gold sub to white dial DJ41 and 36mm Wimbleton 2 tone. Other ADs are completely !@#$. They dont have waitlists and whatever they receive, they put it up for sale. But these are highly patrolled stores and if u wait for a few hours making up your mind, those pieces are gone. When I was there back in July, they sold the white gold sub ($43k retail!) within 2 hours. I had handled in person....rep was like "bro..just buy it". I was like "nah..im waiting for batman in CA"....went back there 2 hours later and it was already sold.
