Have I got a 4 digit insert?

I just picked this up at a local auction house for not a lot of money, I assumed it was for a 16610 given the metal surround pip but it's too small for the bezel assembly.

Could this be a 4 digit insert, or is it a fake?

Thanks again for the support of the forum

It’s 14060/16600

No you do not. White gold pearl surround indicates 5 digit mate.

Thanks both, I guess I need to find a 14060 to use it on!

Can you explain why this works for the 14060/16600 but not the 16610?
I thought the case of the 14060 and 16610 were interchangeable and the bezels that went along with them.

I can understand why one might think so. This is actually a fairly common misconception. The 14060 cases are slightly smaller in diameter than the 16610 cases, along with their bezel assemblies and inserts.

Therefore, a 16610 insert is too big to fit the 14060 bezel ring, and the 14060 insert is too small to fit the 16610 bezel ring.

Is that still the "case" with the 12XXXX Subs?
