Vote on collection choice for all professional model collection?

Apologies in advance for yet another vote. It’s fun. Pick one and why?

Probably 1 as I actually like maxicase and the BLRO. Plus it being WG can't hurt. And a solid YG Daytona is a classic as well.

Only thing that has deterred me from the WG BLRO is that it looks exactly like a stainless steel. no exclusivity in this WG Rolex variant

Well, there is a fact that it doesn't have a crown between Swiss and made, whereas 126710BLRO does (and I low-key think it's the reason they added it initially). So there's that. And it does also come with a MK I bezel, whereas most SS come with MK II and up. But still, so what. It's a dope watch regardless.

Thanks for the advice. I have the watch and keep searching reasons to offload it because of what Rolex did in 2018 when they released it in SS. Any other 2 or 3 watch collection worthy of calling out? Only requirement for me is I want a GMT for the daily driver (for work) and at least one precious metal in WG or YG (no Oyster flex)

I wouldn't pick any of those sets because they all have a Daytona

Swiss law demands that swiss manufacturers use at least 6o% of their components from local origins, and so they can add the "Swiss Made" stamp.

Rolex wanted to point out that their components are not only of local origins but vastly made in house, so they added their crown between the "Swiss Made" in order to differentiate themselves from the lot even more.

This info can also be found in issue #12 of the Rolex magazine

That's very interesting! Thanks for the insight. The small difference of the crown doesn't justify the difference between the stainless steel variant vs. the white gold variant. I wonder how 116719 w/ black dial owners feel about this?
