It might be a Lumen model with the smoked sapphire dial (plus lighting issue). I can see the Hour/Minute circle faintly. Seems to be beneath the sapphire?

Just a guess.

Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst produced in 2014 for the 20th anniversary of the brand and the Lange 1. Limited edition of 20. Champleve black enamel dial. The black polished parts of the dial appear and disappear as the piece is rotated in the light.

Thanks! My wrist is somewhere between a 6.75 “ and 7” I find both watches wear very well for me.

Got a really nice gift for the mid-autumn festival from the local boutique. I've bought a few watches from several boutiques over the years and so far Lange has been by far the most thoughtful. Last year I think they gave me a traditional German fruitcake for Christmas which was pretty nice as well.

Beautiful! The 3/4 plate is there for a reason, I only wish we could see more of the movement.

Nice gesture by Lange! A friend of mine was recently invited to the manufacture in Glashütte. It was a cool experience and he enjoyed himself

The cake is called "Christstollen" and typically comes from Dresden (close to Glashütte)

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but what first appeared to be a very nice 1815 seems to have both center and small seconds and a pusher. Is this a 1 minute monopusher chronograph? Looks very cool anyway

Very Observant and Great Question!
It the 1815 Homage to Walter Lange. The complication is a rather useless Jumping second hands that is stoppable.
What makes this watch special is the sentimental story and the movement.
Walter, prior to his death, repeatedly went to the company asking them to make this watch, the design of which had been patented by the family in the 1800's. They did do the watch in memorium...

The movement is incredibly beautiful, and cool...

Super freakin cool! IMO the best thing about watches is the way they make a beautiful intricate finely crafted thing with otherwise marginal utility. I love complications like this. Thanks for sharing
