MoonSwatch Super Blue Moonphase

A MoonSwatch to commemorate the Blue Moon.

It looks pretty nice, IMHO!

Per the article: “The sale will run from August 1 to August 19, but will only be exclusively available during what Swatch calls the “blue hours” i.e. from 5pm onwards. Available at selected Swatch stores and pop-up locations, each customer can purchase only one watch per day per location.”

It does look nice, but … straps are not comfy for me, and the pushers are ready to fall off any second … great concept, looks nice in a photo but not rough and tough enough for me ..

The moonphase subdial looks really weird and throws off the symmetry of the dial IMO

Wish they came in a smaller case size as my 5yo son would love that!

I like the colours. However, I don’t like the lack of balance with the moonphase.

I like it and want to add it to my MoonSwatch collection.

Will it only be available Aug 1st to the 19th, or will it be more widely available after that period?

I agree the moonphase subdial looks weird, however the contrasting sub dials look really cool.

I have the same question, the watch is not a limited edition, but they no longer sell it? Is it gone forever?

I've just seen the Antiques Roadtrip TV show in the UK (series 28, episodes 15 to 20).

One of the dealers, Ishy, was wearing a MoonSwatch. I'm not sure what I think if it, but if anyone is interested in them they may want to have a look at the program.

Any chance the Super Blue Moon, or others (panda style) like it, will be available for the holidays?

With two sub dials dedicated to the phases of the moon/earth, is this really a chrono?

Who knows…. But I find the perspective change of Earth phases from the Moon to be brilliant.

Good question. I didn't thought of that

But whats stopping me from buying one (of the moonphases) is that the detail only shows up in UV light. That means I won't be able to see them 99.5% of the time.

I so wished they would put lume on them so they would show up in the dark.
