Hi folks! Back up for sale is a stunner of a dress watch coming from some of the best craftsmen in the world – the Grand Seiko SBGW231 hand winder!

This piece has a perfect dress case sized with a diameter of 37.3mm, 44.3mm lug to lug and only 11.6mm thick. With a boxed sapphire with inner AR and gorgeous champagne dial, it really stands out on the wrist. The 9S64 manual wind movement is beautiful to look at through the sapphire caseback. It has a magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m and a 3 day power reserve. At full wind the movement appears to be running within factory specs. The watch comes on a beautiful 19mm OEM crocodile leather strap and engraved GS buckle.

Condition wise I would put this at 93%. The most notable imperfections are a series of small scratches and dents on the side of the 5 o’clock lug – not visible from staring top down at the watch - and a small ding on the bezel between the 5 and 6 o’clock markers. The case has light hairlines and handling marks in the polished areas. Please refer to the photos where I have attempted to capture them in the most direct lighting. The leather strap is comfortable and has a lot of life left and the buckle has only minor wear from use.

The watch will come with the full kit – inner and outer boxes, stamped warranty card from a GS AD (dated 2/8/21), factory timing certificates and instruction manual.
