I have both black and white previous gen. From those two I prefer the white.

Oddly, the new gen I prefer the black. It could be that the new gens slither of steel around the bezel breaks up the monotony of the all black?

You can't go wrong with either of them, seeing both in person will make you choose better but I'd go with black.

There really is no wrong answer here, but the white is just such a clean look and love the contrasting colors.

If the black dial had white subdials, I would be singing a different tune.

I have the black 126 and that is by far and away my favorite between this new version and the previous 116. Can't go wrong either way but I feel the black dial works in all scenarios where the white may not... just an opinion.

Hmm..why not get BOTH???
it is, Yin and Yang, one compliments the other....
I have both, and while I love the Black..the White gives a different vibe, like it says " i am UNIQUE"..:)
If I had to have only one, I would look at the current collection and decide...
BUT if you only had ONE watch and nothing else, def the Black one

I voted black as I think it fits better with my style. Although, the white dial looks great if photo's, I just can't seem to get to liking it in real life.

Much prefer the 126500 in black, ironically prefer the 116500 in white. I think the new reference black dial is a sleeper and total standout.

That said, you can’t go wrong with either and I’d get the one firstly I liked the most, and secondly what fitted into my collection the best.
This.

Even if white has a higher gray premium my pick will be black for both the 126 & 115 series. I find it more elegant & classy.

The white dial is more catchy and if I was wearing a Daytona that’s what I would go for

Recently tried on both side by side and in person I liked the black dial more. That said I would buy the white dial if I had a choice as I already have three rolex with black dials and zero watches in my collection with a white dial. AD said both were no harder to get over the other and they typically get more white dials in than black. So I asked for the white. Personally the watch is not worth spending 15k over msrp for it so im happy to wait and wear my 126508 until the steel shows up.
