The Remaster 01 would have been amazing if the they used a manual wind movement so that the thickness would fit the case diameter. I mean even a blind person could tell you that due to its proportions the watch lacks refinement.

The Remaster 02 case is interesting but just too big. Again a lack of attention to detail and refinement.

To me it looks like AP watch designers who are responsible for the Remaster line are definitely not watch persons/ they lack the feeling for something like that.

I mean just look at VC and their historique collection and you know how it should be done.

I’m not interested in it.
Will look forward to trying one on someday but I doubt it’s something I want and I’m a sucker for every watch they make.

I highly doubt so. AP seems to be on some roll to make big dress watches, as if they believe they are relevant enough to change fashion trends. Why don't they take a look at IWC sales for a moment, they would realize big dress watches have not been a thing for quite some time. For that kind of money, I would buy an independent dress watch any day of the week before this. The new PF Toric for similar money looks so much better from top to bottom next to this AP, it is not even funny.
It was a special order from a company an only 7 were made.
I believe they sell for about 50x the typical AP dress watch from this era now.
So some body appreciates the design.

I definitely do. Tried on the display piece and fell in love. But was told chances of allocation almost nil
