Dedicated pool/beach watch (Warning: Aftermarket RubberB content)

Several years ago, I dedicated my Milgauss to beach/pool duty on an orange Rubber B.

This summer, I wanted variety. My 18K wg Sub is now ALSO dedicated to beach/pool duty on a blue Rubber B.

There is something about seeing these coordinated straps that makes me feel "Oh Yeah... I'm on vacation!!!".

YMMV.

18k WG sub is better than Omega even on fake rubber. But…. Original bracelet beats anything else all day.

Baller, but that’s a lot of gold sitting in a drawer. Does this use to the oem deployment or tang buckle?

I like how close the blue tones match on both watches and glad to see you’re not babying them.

The Milgauss in particular looks superb. Definitely gives off a real summer has arrived vibe.

Not a huge fan of these rubber straps on Rolex watches, for what they are overpriced but like most things once you mention the word Rolex the price quadruples.

I prefer Bracelets on my Rolex watches unless they are originally fitted with the OF Band. I also utilize my Seiko Divers almost exclusively for water activities. Not that the Rolex/Tudor/Panerai/Omega and some others are not up to the duty, I just utilize less expensive options. OP, great looking watches.

Milgauss looks great - proper holiday looking vibe!

Not feeling the Sub as much. The black dial dragging the ‘sun vibe’ down for me. Not a particular fan of the model, but the Bluesy pic above edges the ‘Sub on sunny vacation’ look I reckon.

Great to see two Rolex’s taken on holiday though. A much better post than “am I safe to take my watch to ………?!?!

Dedicated pool/beach watch (Warning: Aftermarket RubberB content)

I just had a few days out in Portugal with one of my Rolex and the original old skool Summer Rubber option.

Beautiful Milgauss. My son’s favorite color is orange, so I’m thinking of picking up that exact reference.

For me, my summer watches are an Omega SMP 300m on blue rubber, Tudor BB58 blue on Nato…and a simple Sub.

Very nice! I’d probably do the same. Is the Sub your everyday when not on holiday?

As an FYI, I purchased mine with a tang buckle but replaced it with a butterfly deployant. Makes it easier to get on and off vs. the tang buckle.
