For fun: If you could have Rolex "build" you any out-of-production model...

What would it be?!

The rules:
1. Must be possible to do, i.e. components still available (no new 1016, lol)
2. Exact configuration must have been available (no Frankenwatches)
3. This is for "personal consumption" (no "Hulk, because I can sell it for a lot")
4. This isn't a free-for-all, they'll be priced at MSRP their final production year, adjusted for inflation

With that out of the way, go!

By the way, I'll take a 112470 and 14000 white dial, please!

Oh, and if budgets all of a sudden became decidedly less limited, sign me up for a 116264, white on Jubilee.

I'd like an all black bezel GMT on jubilee.
I'm simple.

1. Good choice.
2. Five responses and so far, only one to follow Rule #1.
3. No, as impressive as that is, the prize is not the watch of your choice, sorry :(.

This is like being asked to choose your favorite child.

I’d love an NOS 6263 with an exotic dial

I gave a set of limitations. Number of watches was not, per se, one of them.

This is more like being asked to design your ideal child, with your genetic traits as the limiting factor .

Original Milsub on a modern bracelet or original Milgauss with the honeycomb dial and timing bezel.

6263 daytona in all 5? dials, then another set of them in yellow gold.

Hermes stamped, Tiffany Stamped, and Cartier stamped, alternated... lol.

I wish Rolex would bring back the 6062, easily the best-looking Rolex of all time (and avoid blowing it up to 40mm).

I don't think I would. I would though like to see all the models together and be able to have the funds to buy what I want NOS.
