New one- what next?
Finally got the 5968- really excited about it- still can’t believe it. Always wanted it, wasn’t willing to pay secondary price and then asked for it and three weeks later boom here it is.
Can get a nautilus next and trying to decide what one. Already have white 5711, otherwise I might go 5811.. So I’m thinking 5740 or 5712r. The 5740 is incredible but it’s a lot of money. The 5712r is great because well it’s a 5712 which I like but rose gold bracelet takes it up a notch and gives it that wow factor. I don’t want to regret having an opportunity to get a 5740 and look back and regret passing. But I think I’m leaning toward the 5712r at the moment. Would love your opinions on what nautilus to get. Thx guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very nice. Congrats. My vote is 5712 all the way.

The correct answer is 5740/1G.
The 5968A looks great on you. You have got the wrist for it. |

Congrats on the new one, and I'm with you, 5712/1R.

5740 if you have the opportunity. Tried it on at my AD last week and immediately added it to my wish list. Congrats on the chrono - looks fantastic.

Both watches are show stoppers, but like the 5740 better. 5712/1r is stunning but a more limited wear in my opinion….every bit as special. Can’t go wrong with either.

Tip of the hat to you sir, that is mighty impressive to ask for that piece, get it 3 weeks later, and a Naut allocation to boot
I'd go 5740 (or 5712a honestly) but that's my aversion to RG and YG.. If set on PM and/or you love enjoy and wear RG, then 5712r is your answer which you seem to be leaning towards! Go with your gut for sure |

Congrats on a lovely reference. That's crazy how you got it after 3 weeks!
I'd go 5740 without a doubt. It's a grail piece for sure.

Congratulations of your 5968A, it's a great looking watch (from someone who usually isn't fond of Aquanauts).
The Nautilus, you could have more and still be wanting more of them. The 5712/1R is a really very appealing version (I love RG), especially (to me) because it's thin. Obviously "louder", it has to match your lifestyle and where you live. If I'm not wrong it will come with the micro-adjustments buckle. Of course, the 5740 is fantastic too. I would add the 5980 white dial or blue dial but from secondary market only. |

I couldn’t be happier with what I have!
He told me I could get a nautilus next year, these things take time, just wanted to start narrowing it down, I am in no rush for the next one. Thx for the nice compliments everyone. I appreciate the opinions on the nautilus. Thx everybody Have a great weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congratulations on the watch, is a great reference and one of the best aquanauts!
Nautilus wise, I would go for a rose 5712 or steel/rose 5990. |

Congrats on the 5968, looks great on your wrist.
I'd go for the 5740 or 5811. I consider the RG bracelet versions of 5711/12 the most boring references in the whole Nautilus lineup. If RG plus brown dial is a preference, I'd go for a 5167R. |

Looks fabulous and so vibrant.
I would go with either the 5740 if affordable, if not the classic 5712.

My favourite with the 5164r, congratulations!
If you have the option to get a 5740, don't pass. It's a masterpiece. 8.4mm perpetual, micro rotor. It's totally nuts, it wears beautifully. More importantly, the blue dial is quite unique (although the new 5905r is close), the spacing, fonts and font size is perfectly proportioned, just like the classic 3940. It will be a very important reference long term, I'm sure of it. |

Three weeks for a Patek - high net worth spender, long time customer or just lucky?
