I absolutely hated the SkyD on release, called it a frankenwatch, and I wanted to vomit. Then over time, I grew to love it, really impressed with the features and how Rolex implemented, and have no even added one to my collection. It's a beautiful watch and I get why the blue and green are so high on secondary market, they pop in person. Also, they'll likely never make this smaller, it's perfect as it is. and theres a lot going on, hence the thickness. making this 40 would not only look super crunched up on the dial, it would also wear weird with the thickness

SkyD is SUCH a better companion to go with your Sub/SD too. The GMT overlaps and is so monotonous, the SkyD completely shakes it up.

I have a 326934 (black dial, Oyster bracelet) and a 336938 (intense white dial, Oyster bracelet). Yes they are big watches, but I love their presence and feel.

Folks on here will have an idea of some of the nice references I am blessed to own....but if anyone asks me which is my favorite watch, my two tone skydweller with white dial would come out on top, just love the combination even more than my recently acquired blue SS model.... if someone asked me to design my perfect Rolex that would be it....absolutely love your pic, cracking reference
