Omega Speedmaster Date Olympic
Does anyone have an opinion on this watch? Bailey's has it for US$2,300 but didn't know if it is even any good or anything else about it other than it caught my eye. I'd appreciate any opinions anyone has!

I'm not a fan of watches with arabic numerals on it, but the white face does look good, as well as the bracelet style.
The sub dials the the 12,9,6 which means its probably a Valijoux 7750 or ETA 7750 movement, modified of course by Omega. ETA 7750s are workhorses so nothing to worry. I have an Omega SMP chrono diver with the same movement... very accurate and reliable.

Quite like it just that little bit of red make the dial come alive more, great bracelets. Movement is based on the Valjoux 7750 so no problems there with accuracy or reliability.

Looks like a great Speedmaster, Robert. Had a black-face Speedmaster for many years. I've never seen this particular white-face. Very special. Just watch out though, the Speedmasters are very addictive -- much like the Submariners. You very easily start liking the small differences between the models. I always felt that was the most beautiful and the most classic Omega of ALL
