Trade and Grey Market

Do grey market prices go up on Datejust between now and December? Thinking of perhaps trading my DJ but doing it in December rather than now. Are grey prices likely to rise in the span of two months?

I would think you can make a better deal now. Demand should tick up for the holiday season and used watch dealers might be less willing to negotiate.

If you can wait until December, tough it out and wait til February.

Traditionally, it’s the slowest retail month of the year (in many markets, I have no data on watches specifically).

If Rolex has a pricing action then you could see a rise in prices.

Secondary market would likely peg to the new numbers if it came to pass.

Straight up time waster.

Speculating on DJ is ridiculous.

Just sell it.

Invest in actually rare Rolexes to “hold value” or something else.
