Vintage day date 1803 unfriendly to small wrist
Currently own a 5513 and the oyster bracelet is definitely not made for my wrist (6 inch). I had to remove permanent link to make that work.
Is it true that vintage president bracelet is also unfriendly for smaller wrist? I never had a chance to try a vintage day date i.e. 1803 in person but looking at all the photos online, there are very few removable links and a lot of permanent links. If I need to remove more links, is it easy to remove permanent links on president bracelet? Thanks! |

Pretty much all of the bracelets will be unfriendly to a 6" wrist. Not easy to remove permanent links. You essentially have to destroy each one and on a gold bracelet, one link is worth about $400.
You may be better off switching to a leather strap.

Early 1803 president bracelets with the micro-adjustment clasps can have the permanent links unsoldered by a jeweler as I had 2 links removed on an 1803 I previously had. You can then keep them put away for future reinstallation if needed.
