What shall I choose next?

I’ve been offered the VTNR or BLNR on either bracelet.

My collection is as follows

Datejust II - Silver Dial
Yachtmaster 40 - Slate Dial
Sub LV
Explorer II - Polar Dial

Initially I thought the BLNR to add some blue. But the uniqueness of the VTNR is also appealing.

Is it too similar to the Sub LV ?

From those two, I’d pick BLNR. But with a few similar dials already, I’d opt for something different like the skydweller, explorer 1, a two tone or a different brand to mix it up.

If neither really grabs you that much, just get something else that does.

I wear my watch on the right wrist despite being right handed, but the date window on the VTNR looks off to my eye.

OP I’m biased as I own one, but the BLNR is awesome and would fit your collection well.

My goal was to get a Rolex with a different function and complication.

Haven’t gelled with the Explorer II so may move that on. A GMT Master is a good replacement but you’re right with suggestions of SkyD.

However, end game is with Day Date, so will part with DJ II at that point as I’d only want one fluted in the collection

I’ve a strong possibility of Daytona after the next acquisition.

So I think the choice will exist in the GMT. As I’m writing this the more I’m thinking BlNR but keeping swaying to VtNR aaaarrggh

I wear my watch on my right too and wouldn’t swap for the VTNR.

I do feel the VtNR will get discontinued in a couple of years and replaced with a “regular” crown position.

Making the VTNR a unique piece/modern classic

I wear my watch right against my wrist and when wearing a watch on my left wrist I find the crown digging in really annoying. So prefer the flat towards my hand

Based on your posts, it seems you want the VTNR. Go for jubilee and you are set.

I wouldn’t add blue just for the sake of it, unless of course you really want to.

The VTNR would be my choice

Pepsi or Daytona 500, if you can swing it, a Day-Date! Good luck, looking forward to your pics!

I have owned them both and still have the BLNR on jubilee. The Sprite is ok but it sort of hurts my eyes to look at it. You also have a green bezel watch in your LV. So to be different the BLNR.

You don’t have a Daytona or anything with a black dial. I would be looking in that direction

I agree… the crown on the other side doesn’t bother me, but the date window at 9 I cannot stand. The Pelagos LHD did it correctly, move the crown but keep the date at 3.

If you have to ask for help then you’re not ready. Wait and let the watch choose you.

VTNR Jubilee. So different and better value then a BLNR currently.

VTNR but you can’t miss with either

I too, appreciate the unique experience the VTNR brings.
