What are the odds??

I purchased a 1530 a year and a half ago from a reputable dealer from Miami. A friend just bought another 1530 recently from a different dealer from the other coast. Our serial numbers are 1 number apart. 4158XXX. This seems unfathomable to me and I would love to hear the groups thoughts, comments and theories

Thank you kindly

It would bother me more if the numbers were the same.

They and the 1630 are by all accounts very low production.

The short production would suggest batches with succeeding numbering. The small numbers .are would from batches with those numbers. ... so there is more probability to find two numbers in succession out of say 500 rather than 50k or 100k for a year.
