Which ones to keep?
Panerai PAM 111
AP Royal Oak 15500 (SS, blue) Rolex Submariner no date (SS, black) Rolex GMT Rootbeer (SS/RG two tone) Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Cartier Santos medium (SS, white) - bought as a pair with wifey MB&F MAD 1 Time to Love Looking to trim my collection as I’m working towards achieving FIRE in few years’ time. Goal is to keep 3-5 watches. More importantly, I am offered a FP Journe Chronometre Souverain which I pushed back to next year. Keen to know your opinion which ones I should keep / let go, and whether I should get the FPJ! |

Which do you wear the most or like the most? For me I'd keep the RO Sub and Santos and pick up the FPJ.

Similar list here. I'd keep the AP, whatever Rolex you like best, and the Cartier (presuming sentimental value). Then get the FPJ.

Unless some piece has sentimental value id do following:
Rolex RootBeer AP Royal Oak and FPJ CS This way you have 3 different complications, different bracelets and materials.

If you are trying to FIRE quickly, dump all the watches and put the money into the market

He said 3 to 5 watches. To me that says he can keep 5! 4 plus the FPJ.
RO, SUB, Cartier, GMT, FPJ |

Thanks for all the inputs.
I figured RO and FPJ are the must. If I were to keep one Rolex is Sub a no brainer? And I’m surprised no one choose MAD. It’s really a fun watch and I get most compliments from watch and non-watch enthusiasts. |

I would shop the watches and find out the values. This would lead me down the path to which ones to move. The Tudor is worth not so much so unless you are just looking to dump it based on numbers in the collection then keep it. I would also be aware that the market is shifting and the FP and some AP's might not be the ones to buy or trade right now.

FIRE and expensive watches don't go hand in hand..
Having said that I would keep RO, Sub and FPJ. |
