Royal Oak - Dial Colour Change?

Hi all, I know this topic has been discussed before but I haven't seen anything recently on the subject.

Does anyone know if AP would change the dial on a 15300 or 15450 (old discontinued models) from say black or silver to blue?

From reading old posts my understanding was for discontinued models it was possible, but not sure if this is still the case. I have seen some posts suggest they will change from silver to black or grey, but not to blue.

I do recall when I enquired regarding my Black dial 15500 they were willing in 2022 to change it to silver or grey.

Tbh, as often, there are no universal rules unfortunately.
They will be more or less accommodating depending on your relationship with them and profile.

For some everything is possible and for others it's very different.

Not sure that helps much but I guess what I want to say is that you need to find your answer directly with your SA.

I reckon don’t need to worry about asking your SA.

Go straight to the SC for an answer.

I was told no (grey to blue) for a boutique-bought 15450 some years back, but that was when it was still under production.
I have not asked again since.

Just be aware it would include a full service, the dial and the date disc IF they do it, doubt they will let you keep the old dial

Doubt they will change to blue but might for any of the others.
