Why not ? - a Rolex on each wrist !

Got my GMT 1675 in 1973 and it has been om my left wrist until beginning of januar 2024 when I got the meteorite.

Posted a thread 8 januar 2024 "2 GMT on the wrist is one to many -" and DrSmelody wrote "Two wrists. One for each. Solved."

And why not ! Since then I have daily been wearing the meteorite on the left and my faithful 1675 on the right wrist. And it feels quite naturally -
maybe a little awkward in the first few weeks - but not any more and normally nobody take notice.

Problem is solved - I can enjoy the meteorite each day and the 1675 is stille a part of me like it has been for over 50 years.

So now I wonder: anybody else that normally are wearing a watch on each wrist? Or do you feel it will be to flashy?

Once upon a time, I met a group of extremely wealthy, but obnoxious, gentlemen from Kazachstan. Oil/natural gas guys. Used to fly into USA, buy Cadillac Escalades and Hummers and ship overseas back home. They carried tens of thousands each.
One time, the leader of the group, walked into an AD in NYC. Proceeded to buy 2 Rolexes , a Day Date and SS Sub. Proclaimed bragging, ”I have two wrists, I need two watches".
Everyone laughed.
To him, the reaction he got was worth the $.

An acquaintance of mine wears two 1675s (one on each wrist). He’s 78 years old.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin wears 2 Omegas on one wrist, one stainless, and one gold. They are attached with a cheap gold-filled band section between them. I have fixed the band for him a couple of times. One on top of wrist one on the bottom. I have a pic somewhere.

Seems he eventually evolved to three watches at one time.

I wear two watches for the last 3 years. Left my GMT Meteorite and right my Apple Watch. In the first few months I got questions/remarks. Why are you wearing two watches? I always said laughing, i want to be sure to be on time! After that we laugh and go on with what we were talking about.

He is a quirky dude. Nice guy, but in his own little world.

I wouldn’t do it, but I’m not critical of people that do.

Probably entitled to be quirky. First astronaut with a doctorate degree, and from MIT.

the meteorite has the date - I set the time once a month - and the 1675 normally is 3 minutes ahead of time - the meteorite is 10-20 seconds ahead.

A shirt with long sleves keep you safe - and if it´s in a hot climate I´ll leave them behind (looking for a Explorer that´s more neutral for these circumstances)

I had 2 of my watches on each wrist while we had
GTG almost 20 years ago. Some of the members here might recall that. Good times.
