Rolex 18238 Day-Date service with RSC Dallas

Good afternoon everyone,

Finally got my Day-Date back from RSC Dallas and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Their customer service has been great throughout the entire process and they called me several times to double check and confirm about certain things I asked for like lightly polishing and NOT polishing the coronet on clasp. The customer service representative said they spoke to the technician that had my watch and they agreed that they would lightly polish the watch, since this was in an unpolished state when purchased, and would most importantly not touch the coronet on the clasp. I also wanted to update the dial and hands and got them replaced which looks great.

All in all, they did a phenomenal job and couldn’t be happier.

Dropped off via USPS September 9th and got the watch back from RSC October 10th.

Sorry for the bad photos as I’m currently at work but I’m very happy with the outcome.

It’s not a good comparison photo since I completely forgot to take different photos before sending it but these were taken the week before I sent it out.

All together it was $2,063

Here is the list of everything that I had replaced:

1. Both new springbars
2. New silver dial with new hands
3. New crown
4. New crystal with AR coating
5. Full service

Thanks for the details.
Your watch looks Great! Glad you had a good experience.

Curious, what were your reasons to replace the dial and hands?

The dial and hands didn’t have anymore lume and the old silver dial had a few hairline scratches.

On the lug length, does it look shorter now from the polish?

Not that I see. It looks the same actually. That can also be from them “lightly” polishing it instead of maybe a full polish. I’m sure if they would’ve done a full polish, I wouldn’t have had hairlines still and they probably would’ve removed more material.
