If you're with your GF, I would suggest Hua Hin rather than Pattaya for a resort town. Check it out on YouTube. It's only a little further from BKK and you can fly, train or bus down.

With that out of the way, OP, I’d go Deepsea and Daytona. Your collection overlaps mine in a way, and those are the best 2 in my opinion for travel. Deepsea for any fun activities, Daytona to keep it classy and for nighttime activities.

*As an aside, I would say you’re TEN times more likely to get your watch stolen in Phuket from a NON-Thai person, than anywhere in Bangkok. Which says a lot about the country. So if anybody is traveling to Thailand and perusing this thread, *do* take heed if going there, or even Pattaya as well.

I have limited experience - but this 100% gut checks. I’d be way more worried to take a Rolex to Chicago than Bangkok or Chiang Mai.

I travel yearly to Thailand (now for over a decade). I have even purchased a Rolex over there as well. Great place to travel and watch shop (Siam Paragon has a great “horologist” row).

Bangkok is much safer than London or Los Angeles. However, if you seek the nightlife, bar scene, and or other activities, bring the G-Shock. Although there is extreme poverty in Thailand there is also absolute wealth. Depending on the location, a Rolex can be considered an entry level watch. Safe travels.

Just going to say the same Adam.

I've been a few times and felt safer there than any other city I've been to.

OP, I would say that there are much better/nicer places to go than Pattaya/Phuket.

Chang Mai, Krabi, the Khao Sok national park, Ko Yao Yai, Ko Pah Ngan, and Ko Phi Phi all, are all places I'd stay again.

Why take two? I only ever travel with a watch I can wear and it never leaves my wrist.

I always tone down my 'traveling' watch, not because I'm worried about theft, because I don't like to served by someone earning £80/$100 a WEEK, while I'm sat there wearing a 10k+ watch.

Poll; WHICH 2 to bring to Bangkok? NO partying

Let me throw Koh Samet into the mix too. Not much further than Pattaya and much nicer beaches/gives you a taste of a Thai Island too.

To keep things on topic, I’d just take 1 watch and did exactly that too.

Absolutely. Phuket is only good for flying into IMO, especially when you've visited some of the places you've mentioned.

Lucky enough to never have been to Pattaya, not sure why anyone would go all that way to essentially go to the Benidorm of Asia! Phuket is bursting at the seams thanks to overtourism.

I’d take the DJ. It’s probably the most wearable and useful with the date complication

I agree to some degree///
My philosophy is to bring pieces i would like to have memories build...cannot afford to travel per trip per watch...PLUS the pieces are insured anyways and area is safe..I did take 2 to Bali years ago
i'd like to enjoy our hard work while I can...so to speak but I do agree and see your point..

and last but not least, why travel with 2? Because Roger travels with 3....LMAOOOO.....ofc I am no body compared to anyone to begin with...:)
