Beautiful new Daytone white wave dial

I was passing an AD and looked in the front window and saw a beautiful two tone Datejust 36 Roman dial in a beautiful white wave texture so I went inside to see it. While I was waiting for a sales assistant I also saw a Daytona with a white wave dial.
The sales assistant explained it was a trick of the light through the plastic wrap and I was, in fact, retarded 😂

I think it looked great and Rolex should do this!

That's really funny. But, I do really like the effect. Looks kind of like the Seamaster wave dials- but less patterned- & looks better than the meteorite on the Daytiona, which I think looks too chaotic for the reference (though it does work for me on the DayDate).

I think you may be on to something!

The Grand Seiko wavy dials are incredible.

Did the sales assistant really explain to you that you were retarded?
Unless, of course, you are I don’t think that’s a very kind thing of them to say.

That looks super cool! I love the horizontal lines on the Omega Seamasters. Both the AT and SMP!

I could dig it. Even better with some diamond baguettes.

Reminds me of the CW C65 Dune Shoreline - but that motif looks much better on a Daytona! What a shame it's not in production :)
