Aware a number of people have done this / tried this... was there ever a preferred solution for the spring bars?

The original BLRO bars are 1.5mm in diameter with a pivot size of 1.2mm, whereas the Sub bracelet uses 2.0mm diameter bars - so you can use the BLRO bars but they would be 'loose' within the end link of the 97200 bracelet.

I've seen some suggestions to use the YM bars from Everest which are 1.8mm with a pivot size of 1.2mm?

Does anyone have a definitive answer or perhaps found a better solution?

Know there's a few out there... plenty of pics knocking about, just looking for the most suitable solution for the spring bars.

I received my BLRO recently with an Oyster and bought a Jubilee as well. I have multiple sports watches with the glide-lock clasp. I missed it, so I through on a 97200 that was on my 16610 LV. After pulling up and out with the 97200 with the 126710 spring bars, I cannot feel any play at all. Just my $.02

I wear my 2021 BLRO on a new 97200 from my AD and I use the spring bars from the BLRO and I can't tell the difference. I absolutely am ecstatic that I made this switch.

Let me correct myself, it has basically the same amount of play at the GMT Oyster vs. the Sub Oyster on the 126710. Unless you’re stressing the snot out the bracelet I wouldn’t worry about it. Most Rolex owners will never wear their watches anywhere close to the potential limits of the watch, not to mention that Rolex’s are over built for what most owners need so it’s a win, win.
